2 Prizes at WEBFEST BERLIN
The TV series SINGLES’DIARIES has won 2 prizes at the international Webfest Berlin. The romantic sitcom received the “Audience Award” as well as “Best Newcomer Production” for Elwafilm. The series can be watched on the streamer network Joyn.
Episode for crime series WAPO BERLIN
Saxonia Media has hired me to write an episode for their police series WAPO BERLIN. This crime procedural launched successfully on ARD in May 2019. New episodes are currently being shot on original locations – on land and water around Berlin.
On Board of Artists Association
At the 2019 annual meeting of members, the board of directors of the artists association Paul Klinger Künstlersozialwerk, appointed me a seat on their advisory board. My main function revolves around PR, mainly the member recruitment campaign #WirKünstler raising awareness of the social NGO that I conceived and further developed with the advertising agency KWS.
JOYN Sitcom wins in New York and L.A.
The web series SINGLES’DIARIES has received 6 international prizes. The sitcom won “Best Romantic Comedy” at the Los Angeles Film Awards, whereas it also won for “Best Web Series” and “Best Comedy” at the New York Film Awards. As part of a writersroom, I co-developed the initial series concept under the creaor/ showrunner Sascha El Waraki. The charming romcom episodes can be screened on Joyn.
